zirkusinfo.at is an interactive mapping project of the austrian circus scene, generating statistics and providing informations for circus artists/policy makers/journalists and curators. it is a freely accessible online platform pursueing the following goals:

we hope to stimulate cooperation, create synergies and facilitate advocacy. the project makes visible the heterogeneity and diversity of the Austrian circus sector and makes information easily accessible.
The online platform zirkusinfo.at was conceived by the Kulturverein KreativKultur and implemented with the support of the Austrian Federal Chancellery in December 2016.
KreativKultur has been piloting an observation program on a european scale from 2014-2017:
CS Hubble is a three–year pilot observation program that is conducted between 2014-2017. The programme aims to gain a better understanding of the circus and street arts sectors in Europe. It is conducted by one of the 6 internal Work Groups of the circostrada network and funded by the European Commission inside the Creative Europe programme (sub-programme Culture).
